How To Install Our Maggie Hanging Pots

Our Maggie hanging pots are a great way to add greenery to the home without taking up any floor space. Included in our indoor Humphrey Range, Maggie is made from the same poly-composite resin material that is extremely lightweight, UV, and natural weather-resistant. With no drainage holes, it is also watertight, making this pot perfect for home décor!

Maggie is available in two sizes: 200mm D x 150mm H and 300mm D x 150mm H. It is available in White, Mud, and Basalt (indigo tone). It has three pre-drilled holes around the top rim and a one-meter-long stainless steel hanging cable.

Step 1: The hanging cable has four steel rope twist wires connected by a split ring. Before proceeding, ensure the wires are not crossed at the split ring or tangled together.

Step 2: Choose one of the three wires with a flat rectangular metal attachment at the end. Manoeuvre the flat metal piece vertically so one half is inside the wire loop pointing towards the metal crimp sleeve and the other end is pointing outward.

Step 3: Poke the outward-facing section of the flat metal piece into the pre-drilled hole at the top of the Maggie pot. Push down gently but firmly. You may need to squeeze the loop to fit it through the hole. Stop when the metal crimp sleeve touches the top of the hole.

Step 4: Turn the Maggie pot so you can see the flat metal piece on the inside. Twist the flat metal piece horizontally until it aligns with the underside of the rim, then pull the external wire upwards so it is flush. Always check the flat metal pieces are correctly positioned before hanging your pot. They can become unaligned when the pot is not suspended. The weight of the plant and soil, along with gravity, will keep the flat metal pieces in place once it is hung.

Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 for the remaining two wires. If the hanging cable is too long, fold the single top wire over and thread the top loop into the split ring.
